Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December 1991. He is the child of Manny James, along with Patty James of mixed race. The father of Manny James is Nigerian as is his mother, who is caucasian American. In 2010, he graduated at Sanderson High School and furthered to Wake Forest University where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics in the year 2015. James first became famous by his character on The Bachelorette's reality TV star. The Bachelor season 25 premiered in 2021. The next Bachelor was James who was his first African American to play the lead character. James is the perfect fit for this role as is tall, beautiful and humorous. Rachael Krkconnell was picked to play his partner during the entire season. Following year, 2021, he got a partner with the well-known dancer Arnold to compete in the season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold finished 12th.
